The Past and The Future

in

Yes, it's been a really long time since I posted anything. I'll blame it on a busy summer packed full of exciting yet time consuming adventures.

I wanted to put my mind at ease and not feel as guilty about having only 2 posts in June and 2 in July... So I've compiled a list of things I've done in the past two months...

  • Working on a new project at work - sometimes more than 40hour/week
  • Playing two games of Ultimate Frisbee - Tuesday and Sunday nights
  • Moving out of the small apartment into a much bigger house
  • Some camping
  • Some work on the car
  • Researching and buying a new TV/Home Theater (more about that soon)
  • Working on my honours project
  • Taking a Math class to finish up my Software Engineering degree in December

Now that I've compiled most of the things I've done in the past 2 months, I don't feel as bad for ignoring my blog - and other blogs I keep up with. Therefore, I've taken the next week off work specifically to catch up on all the blogging - haha - Just kidding... but that's going to be one of the items on my to-do list.

As for what I will be doing during my 10 day vacation... here's that list just in case you were interested.

  • Finish honours project - or finish at least 90% of it.
  • Catch up on studying for the Math class so that I don't run out of time to study for my final exam - August 14th
  • Finish un-packing the house and start putting things in order
  • Explore possibilities to buy furniture or rent furniture for living room
  • Catch up on blogs
  • Post more on my blog - lots of stuff will be posted with regards to my honours project topic - Interface Design in the Web 2.0 World - not the official title, but it explains my research interest.. haha
  • Slot in sometime to catch on my photography - and update my portfolio and start a gallery on Flickr
  • Enjoy sometime in front of the new TV
  • And if there is time left over - Relax and catch up with friends
So there you have it... My past 2 months, and coming 2 weeks... Just in case you were interested.

Wow, good luck with all

Wow, good luck with all that! As for furniture, renting makes no sense money wise. You're better off getting some decent used furniture. You'd be surprised how many people are moving out of the country and selling everything. Almost everything in my house is used, but you'd never know it.
