When it was first introduced, I was wondering why in the world Facebook would incorporate a chat feature. Over the past 2 years, Facebook has gone from light and fun to heavy and repetitive. By adding yet another 'application'/functionality, they were just bogging things down even further.

I didn't care to use it at first, but now I'm using it quite a bit. The main reason is that when I see a friend online, it find it better to just send a chat message and get a live response - most of the time.

Facebook - Is there anything it doesn't do (socially)?

For a while, I had a blog on Blogger, but it didn't give me enough freedom to style my page the way I wanted it. Therefore I bought some hosting with GoDaddy, and created this website with Drupal. I finally got around to updating my Webpage (on my Facebook profile) and a friend from university contacted me regarding it. She has a blog as well, so why not link to each other.

Remember that night when you got really drunk, stumbled into the shady tattoo parlour and engraved - "Michael Jackson is my hero" after listening to Thriller, onto your chest - of course you don't remember that, you were too drunk.

For the past few years, I have noticed a trend with regards to popular products and start-up companies. Most of them spring up around one product that will get them into the market, and then they can work their way from there, or hope and pray that they will get bought out by a bigger giant for billions of dollars.

So today is my birthday, and also my first Facebook Birthday. This is where everyone on Facebook knows about my birthday. It's interesting to see how many people wish me happy birthday on my wall or send me a message.

To be honest, I rarely check the 'Upcoming Birthdays' section to remember to wish people. Most of the people I have constant contact with, I know their birthdays, and I'd rather give them a phonecall.

I opened my inbox this morning, and I had 12 new wall posts. Throughout the morning I've been getting a couple more posts. A lot of people get 'pre' birthday wishes, I didn't get any. I'm wondering how many 'post' birthday wishes I'll get.
