EA Sports NHL 09 Jersey Unlock Code

I don't know who runs this blog thing but it's kinda cool. SO I have been playing EA Sports NHL since 94, I run out and get the new game every year, the day it comes out, hell I bought my PS3 just for the hockey game, yes I'm a nerd. I however find a number of things wrong with the game every year, oh and I'm on my 3rd PS3 as well, just imagine no way to transfer your data once the system burns up, I was on my second year of NHL08 when the first PS3 died on me, and I play both the pro and the minor games all season at 3o mins a game, so yes again "nerd alert", that's like 164gamesx2seasonsx30mins, and that's not including the playoffs. So I went and picked up a memory stick for a back up, but get the right one cause I heard that not all memory sticks work with the PS3, and yes I think I heard that you can save your data via online or something to that affect, but back country has limitations with cable, so still rocking the dial-up. But back to the point, every year I find things wrong. Before I start a Dynasty, I go thru all the free agents and find out which ones don't belong, I transfer them for some of the Euro league guys that look bad ass, and I'm talking skill not their ugly ass mugs. I do however put them in the free agents so that all the teams have a chance to get them, this has a extra bonus, teams can't resign the 1st few year free agents cause the cap, so hold out till the year is over and scoop up some really awesome NHL players, hell sometimes there will be a guy as good as Eric Stall just hanging out for a few months into the season until someone else gets hurt and is off the cap, it's kinda wild and lots of scoring with all the top guys from all the leagues in one mega combo. With it's few shortcomings NHL 09 is solid enough and maybe the best to date. I would like to see young gun stars for the next few seasons worth of drafts on the game, as in the real up coming players, football has it, U can draft such players as Matt Forte in the 1st draft, but hockey has all these guys with the same four faces. Sometimes I do wonder if anyone test plays the game before finalizing it, cause I find things that I don't like, and would think others as well. AS FOR THE JERSEY OCDE~~~~~~~~~~~I think if anything it hurts Sleepbok, I went out to get a bag for all my gym and boxing stuff and was looking at some Reebok bags but bought UnderArmor instead just cause I had, had it with the damn waiting, though they might have some really great products, I was left bitter over the wait, so they don't get my hundo bucks some other company does.

i cant wait 4 the code, but my team doesnt have a third jersey, but i used to live in buffalo and the sabres ill root for them unless they are playing the ducks but yeah it really does look like a slug on the sabres jersey. GO DUCKS

First of all, I just want to comment on how awesome the game really is. Secondly, I also would like to commend EA Sports for the mere fact they put that little girl in as her dying wish. With that being said I would like to say to everyone who consistantly whines, asks and revolves their life around these unlockable jerseys. You're going to get sick of them within a few days of playing anyway. The time is relatively soon to my understanding, so be patient or put your hugees back on and play in the corner with your legos (the big ones, not the small one)! I'm sure there are certain copyright issues and regulations EA has to comply with in terms of the NHL and all it's teams, not to mention the simple fact that the teams in the league would probably be absolutely pissed beyond belief if THEIR jerseys were rendered on a video game and made viewable to the public before their fans got to see it. I understand we as gamers are fans as well, but still. A different look for the teams doesn't make the PLAYING experience any different despite mere appearance. So, enjoy the game and wait just like the rest of us or again, spoon feed yourself a mouth full of Gerbers baby food! P.S.-Oh, and for the sick son of a b*tch who was complaining about a female being in the game, even when she is dying, are you 12? Have you not hit puberty yet and are still in the cootie pre-adolescents stage of your life? Deal with it brother, or play a different game. I don't know where the NHL is going with some of these 3rd jerseys. The senators jersey itself is great, the stripping is great and the colors are great. But their main logo is just a disgrace. I wouldn't expect to see such poor creativity in Pee Wees. I am just not feeling the new age vertical logos they are coming up with. Does anyone know if the rangers are going to release a 3rd and when?

WHY is there a girl on NHL 09 in free agents. she has goalie with 99 overall people pay 70 bucks on a game that should be as real as possible and they add some chick with a 99 overall to free agenty they did the same thing in 08 last year with some weird looking fat kid. is it not bad enough that they never make hockey games right there always stupid glitchs in it and look at football game alway more in it and looks so much better. ea sports rip off

Official post from EA on their message board: The third jersey code will not be listed this Monday. Due to our commitments with Reebok, we cannot release the code until a specified date as agreed upon and though I cannot mention the exact date, I can say that it will be in December. Thanks for your patience on this one folks.

WOW! you guys all just shut up, its a stupid cheat! yaaaaay! big deal, the game is still playable, good enough for me! :)

I don't know who the genuises at NHL, Reebok, and EA are, but they are the biggest dicks. "Hey, let's release the game in September, and put a tantalizing image of a blacked out jersey in the jersey select screen. Then, let's give them the EA website to go to in order to get the code! The funny part is, when they go to the site, there won't be a code! Then they will all be scrambling, sweating, and cursing to get the code, but who cares? We've already got our money! What a bunch of suckers! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" While they're all sitting around drinking and high-fiving each other. Jerks.

Also, as far as I can see, the last ones to be unveiled are the Flyer and Coyotes on Nov 28th. So probably have to wait till then.
