Stop the Vista bashing - Grow up Apple

Mac VS PCEveryone has seen at least one Apple commercial - 'Mac vs PC'. Most of the educated PC users know that Apple is making a mountain out of a mole hill when it comes to some of the issues. Vista DRM for example.

I have been using Vista for a while now and haven't come across any DRM issues. I've played DVDs, HD-DVDs and protected content, and Vista has never denied access or downgraded its quality. Is it because I have the right setup, or is it because I have a legal copy of Vista and the content I'm trying to play. All Microsoft did was try to comply with the standards. They are a big enough giant to dump the DRM protection, and the MPAA would be able to do nothing about it, but they didn't.

Slashdot has a big long discussion about it as well.

I know tons of people who purchased a new computer that came with Vista, or bought Vista itself. None of them have downgraded back to XP. Again, Apple is making a big issue out of a few small instances of people switching back to XP. There are some very useful features in Vista, that I really like - And I don't mean Flip 3D.

If we compare the launch of Vista and the launch of Leopard there are a lot of similarities. Both ran into driver issues. Both ran into security/firewall issues. As the Apple OS grows, it's going to face exactly the same problems that Microsoft has been facing with Windows for the past two decades. Trying to support backwards compatibility, along with the pressure of continually adding new features = bloated software.
