From the quick research I did, it doesn't look like this monitor won't work. It doesn't seem to have HDCP, which is 'content protection'... and for the PS3 to output to a monitor it must either support HDCP over DVI or use it through analog cables.
For the price you're paying, you could shop around and wait for a sale on a monitor that does have HDCP. Samsungs are great... so I would stick with that brand..
