Wed, 08/25/2010 - 10:33 I have a relatively new LCD monitor that supports 1920x1080 and bought a Component VGA cable for PS3. Would this work or does it have to be a DVI output? When I plug it I get a black screen with the message "Not optimum resolution - Optimum is 1920x1080" floating around in a white box. But I don't get a chance to set the resolution because I never get to settings and I have tried to reset my PS3, the clicking sound was very clear but it doesn't help. What can be done about this?
